THANK YOU SECRET PAL!!!!!!

I have the best Secret Pal!!!! She read that I have no idea how to scrapbook on my September thank-you and decided to fix that for me. She made me a 'Scrapbook for Dummies' kit. My October gift included: an adorable scrapbook album - with all the pages completed!!!! My secret pal made a starting and ending page, two pages for our in China photos, two pages for coming home to America, and then two pages for every month for a year!!!! Plus, they are already all in the album and they all have the cutest paper and little scrapbooky things on them. I just love it. Plus, I got a whole ziplock bag of 'extra' scrapbook stuff to add to the pages when I add the photos. How much easier could this be?!? And I also got a set of 6 scrapbook templates. She thought of everything!!! But really - I'm speechless on how thoughtful she was. I'm sure this was lots of work. And so very thoughtful - I can't express in words how this made me feel - that a 'stranger' 2000 miles away could care so much about me and my daughter. Everyday I'm amazed with the wonderful 'family' I have online in all of you. The ONLY good thing about the wait for my baby is getting to know all of you better. And to my Secret Pal - I hope we get to meet some day. If not during our travels to China then sometime soon after that. Again, thank you for taking so much time to make my world a little bit brighter.

Thank you so much for the lovely Halloween-themed presents. I love, love, love the puffy, soft monogrammed Trick-or-Treat bag. I hope Ruby gets to use it to help give out candy this time next year! The t-shirt is a perfect size to wear with a layer, and the Halloween hairbow and is adorable! 10 Trick-or-Treaters is a book I've not seen before, and I love it! You can find Christmas books all over the place, but good Halloween ones are hard to find. Cadance loves her bracelets and plans to wear them for what may be her last Trick-or-Treat. Alas...

You do such a wonderful job, SP, we look forward to your packages every month. You really do help make the wait so much easier.

Good morning! We had a wonderful surprise in our mailbox yesterday ~ a fabulous gift from my secret pal. My youngest son quickly opened the box to find the most adorable outfit for his little sister, a precious lady bug pin and halloween bracelet, a Quiet Time CD, and the best part for him ~ markers and notepads. There was no stopping them once they tore into the markers and the coolest part was that they had their own box! Thank you for always thinking of our sons as well as our daughter and me! I really appreciate it. Each time I get a gift, it reminds me just how quickly time does pass. Hopefully we won't be waiting for another 14-18 months. Our prayers for your family as well. HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

On this rainy, yucky day my mailman came roaring down the driveway with a package from my June Secret Pal!! I love the most adorable little dress with ......matching bib..... and the softest most cuddly liitle blanket that matches, too! LOVED the card, too! :) Thank you so much......it was a wonderful surprise today!

My bio son Forrest received a Star Wars V-wing Lego ship! He loves it. I open the box. Forrest grabbed the coloring book and started to color it. He loves to draw and color with crayons. I am making a good wish quilt for my son Forrest. So we received a beautiful frog print fabric and wish of course. I was even thinking of Frog theme backing for the quilt! Also received Asian tea cups in black/red on inside very nice! An Asian purse. Very nice! A stationery set with a pen, 4 sets of Chop sticks. My hubby always uses chopsticks when eating Chinese’s food.

THANK YOU to my very wonderful Secret Pal

So, I can not tell you how much I laughed and smiled when I opened my lovely SP gift box when it came yesterday. My SP is the COOLEST! I just LOVE the blanket, which matches my nursery, and the little book and CD are so sweet! I might use it to help ME fall asleep! LOL. I also really enjoyed the beautifully done quilt square and wish. (You easily have the nicest hand-writing I have ever seen.) But the VERY BEST PART - the one that STILL makes my smile, is the lotion. Unless you read my blog, this won't make any sense, but the short answer is that our nickname for our as-yet-to-be-named-daughter is "Baby Magic". I LOVED IT!!!! I couldn't wait to show my DH. Even he smiled (and he can be a grump after work ;->). Thanks soooo much. -Danesha (who can't WAIT to use the Baby Magic Lotion on her little Baby M!!)

My Secret Pal gifts arrived!

I wanted to post and say that we received not one, but two boxes. I again waited for Wendy to wake up from her nap. She was so excited!
In the large box I found two wire curly cues in an envelope....hum what could they possibly attach to? Inside all of the bubble wrap was the cutest Ladybug Sign that had "Sweet Dreams Little Lady" under the ladybug.
I'm in love with it!
Then there was a smaller box with Winnie the Pooh on the corner of it. How cute! Inside was a package with Wendy's name on it, one for Mylie, and one for Mike and me.
Wendy got a pair of Halloween Socks,a pumpkin head band,and stickers! Mylie got a pair of tiny Halloween Socks, and a precious little Halloween Top! Mike and I got a bag of Tangerine Candy Corn! I can't wait to try them. When I was little my dad use to always bring me a bag of Brachs Candy Corn home from work every Halloween. I love them.
Thank you so much it is always fun to see what you send! It really made our day!
Once again....I'll post the photos soon. Funny how this always works out.

I flipped when I seen it because I get one each year and had a real hard time finding one last year, now I don't have to go on the hunt for the 2007 one!! Thank you for the little spoons and the sandals with the little lady bug! I love it all thank you, so much you really made my day especially with the desk calendar.

I thought that was funny.

I've been sick for a week now, so I'm late posting this. I'm very sorry for the delay. I got two of the CUTEST little girl outfits, matching squirrel barrettes, and a little squirrel toy that makes squirrel noises when you squeeze it! I love these outfits, and am so looking forward to seeing our daughter in them. I had actually looked at the Gymboree outfit when I was there a few weeks ago and almost bought it. The only reason I didn't was because I been trying to curb my spending until we have a better idea of when we'll finally get her. You seem to know exactly what my tastes are! I'm so glad to have you as my secret pal! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

WOW, its like my secret pal can read my mind! ITs almost Spencer's birthday and for months he has been saying he wants a pair of pajamas from the movie "Cars" so what do you think arrived yesterday? A pair for him and a matching pair for his baby brother! Thats weird! And, for mom, a beautiful Jade charm that I hung in my van so I can see it ever day! Thanks again secret pal! You truly make my month!

To my Secret Pal. I am figuring out this technology thing... It's worth it though! Thank you so much for the package. The learning telephone is wonderful. I love toys that children can do different things with. The chopsticks are so pretty with the flowers. And then I saw the candy corn (which happens to be my favorite) and the Halloween decorations. How fun! But, Bailey became a bit possessive over his package. A little bit about him since I am always asked - he is a Lhasa Apso, Bichon Frise mix - short for spoiled! Most people think he is a puppy but he is 5 yrs old. His favorite things - food and stuffed toys. When I buy a new toy for him, I have to put it in our laundry basket so that it develops a scent... He has cataracts in both eyes since he was a year old so he can't see but he has a nose for finding things. In the picture, he is waiting for me to give him his treat. I'm not sure why the picture was so dark though... Anyway, thank you for the secret pal package. Bailey loves his treats too!

So this weekend DH and I went out of town, and when we returned there was a card in the mail from my SP! It was a Halloween f card and it said "guess who" it was so cute!! Inside there was an asian cutout. I plan to use in on DD scrapbook (If I ever get it started)

So, today it is sort of rainy and yucky out, so I sent DH out to the mail box, and he brings in a box for me!!!!e

Inside is the cutest "Whoozit" and a matching dvd. Sooo cute!! My 12 year old daughter was squeeking and squeezing it! It is simply adorable!

A huge thanks to my Secret Pal. What a way to put a smile on my face this weekend! You were so, so thoughtful to send along some jewelry for Abby Mei -- she tried to steal mine last month, but now she has some of her own. :)
In the photo, the jewelry is being model by my daughter's beloved "Doggy," who does a better job of sitting still.
I love the photo frame -- it looks great with our Winnie the Pooh nursery.
And we have already flipped through the Asian cookb00k. We're especially looking forward to trying out some of the many dumplings recipes. Learning how to cook Asian food is one of the many items on my "long wait" to-do list. So this will be a great start! And less expensive than going to our local Chinese restaurant every week!

Although my Secret Pal had already sent Griffey that cool new ladybug collar, I found more stuff in my mail the other day. I love this little outfit! Of course, my favorite color is pink. And the jumper is so soft. I can't get enough books. I've dreamt of the day when it'll be my turn to read bedtime stories. My Secret Pal also included a sweet wish and quilt square for Mia. The little orange M&M guy is a pacifier holder that clips onto their clothes so you don't lose the binky.

Guess what happens when you get home from a week of traveling to discover you have 2 Secret Pal gifts waiting to be opened? WHOOPS! I mixed them up! Please accept my sincerest apologies dear Pal! I love all of my gifts and wont make that mistake again!

As you can see I received lots of ladybug goodies and I am so, so happy! I love the book (which is one I don't have) and the little photo book. C absconded with the pencils and socks. And I can't wait to use those little hair barrettes.

Again, I am so sorry for the mix up. I had a feeling I was making a mistake, so thanks for letting me know. Your gifts have a distinct flair, and I should have known better.

A Huge Thank you to Michele Anderson's Secret Pal

Okay, I'm a loser. I'm just now getting around to posting about my gift from last month. I thanked my secret pal on the board, and I meant to post on here by now. I'm sorry!

I received a wonderful box of goodies from my generous secret pal. A ducky bathtub, a rubber ducky, some other wonderful stuff that I've had to put up in a box so my 2 year old wouldn't lose it. I took some photographs of her with everything, but I can't find the cord to my tiny camera. However, my secret pal sent Zoe a beautiful Barbie. On my little camera, I have a picture of Zoe playing with the Barbie. Oh, this Barbie, she is always around now. I find her in odd spots...like the dog bed! So I whipped out my real camera today and took a picture of the Barbie!

Thank you, thank you, thank yMou, Secret Pal! You made my day getting that box. It was so much fun to open up and I am packing everything away for our future baby!

Thanks SP From Krista G & Griffey!

I was surprised to get another gift from my Secret Pal. Well, actually it was addressed to Griffey but since he doesn't have opposable thumbs I opened it for him. It's a cute new collar with ladybugs on it. Griffey will now make quite the fashion statement. His old one was basic black. He thought it made him look slimmer but I told him that he needed to take some risks and add something fun and colorful to his wardrobe. He was do for a fashion makeover. i just can't thank my secret pal enough for her thoughtfulness in all her gifts. this will be our first child, and we are in need of everything "baby" related. you have been so thoughtful to send things for our little one and things for us. like i posted on the june bugs website, that little duckling makes me smile everytime i hear it. i can't wait to see the look of suprise on our baby's face the first time she hears a duck quack at her! i love everything else too...the oh so soft bear, the duckling ornament, those perfect stacking cups, the photo album, bracelet (i'm extra impressed if you made it!), chop sticks and....especially the quilt squares. i can't wait to get the quilt going. my mother-in-law is a sewer, so she'll be helping me long distance. she lives a few states away, but she's excited to be included in the adoption this way. the quilt won't be started for a while, so if you have any other squares you'd like to send, i would gladly accept. you are a very special person, secret pal. i hope your secret pal is as great as you are. thank you so very much. ~beri

I got my September SP Gift!!!!

Thank you - thank you!!!!

I got two adorable little outfits on Saturday - one pink and one purple - my two favorite colors! And thank you for not getting two the same. Even though I'm hope and praying for twins - and that's all I seem to talk about - I know that the chances are slim that we'll get them. And then I'm afraid I'll end up with all kind of 'extra' clothes - we'll I guess my SP for baby #2 would love all my 'extras' but it's really nice having similar things instead. :) Thanks for thinking about that too. Plus, I love the card - I'm saving them all and maybe someday I'll learn how to scrapbook so I can put them all in an album with the pictures of the adorable and thoughtful gifts you send. And, yes we are another month closer to holding our babies - thank you for reminding me. This really does help pass the time and it is so much fun getting packages in the mail!
