The two little silver boxes for the baby's first tooth and first lock of hair fits so neatly in my memory box. Once again the best gift EVER!

I know we all think we have the best pal, but I hate to tell you all the best pal is MINE! LOL Just joking! Everyones pals have been awesome! I was having a day to myself which I now get every wednesday, and going to meet my dh for lunch, and stopped to get the mail, and lo and behold another secret pal surprise! The wrapping was so nice that I didn't want to open it before getting a photo! So, I had to keep it in the bag till I got home from lunch! Not an easy thing! First off, she sent the most adorable wish! With ladybugs on the fabric of course, and isn't it weird how it seems that we can be paired with a pal who has the same AWESOME taste as ourselves? I find that strange, anyway, she sent this great little onesie that has a ladybug on it and the name Mia, the photo doesn't do it justice really because the ladybug feels almost like beads tiny ones, hard to describe, but so original and so CUTE! Thanks secret pal! You did it again, and at the risk of repeating what everyone else has said, YOU HAVE GREAT TASTE!

I feel like I have the best secret pal... ever! I am not posting a picture, but I just want to say how much I needed that today! It is the most precious CD I have heard in a very long time and your right, it brought me to tears..(lots of tissues). It just made me want to see her face right now....I am sure this Cd will be where ever I am. It really touched my heart and made me feel like she is just a breath away! You are amazing!!! Time will surely fly! Oh, did I mention how lucky I am to have a secret pal like you? :)

THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! I just love everything. The socks are just beyond cuteness. I think I have showed them to anyone that stopped by the house. Heck I even showed them to the maillady yesterday. The teether is great and Keira actually used it because we have trouble finding teethers for her very small mouth and this one was perfect for that. She is about to get that 1st tooth to finally come in, or at least I hope because she's been miserable while cutting it. Also the bib and photo album is great, I putting both of them away for Colby. I will take the bib to China with me since it will be so easy to wash and I love the ladybugs on it. Also I forgot to include my quilt square, it is great!! I've decided that if you send me a square every month that I'm going to make a seperate quilt out of the squares you send me so that way Colby will have one from her Secret Pal. So I would say ladybugs or asian would be great fabric choices but anything that you like because I saw some really cute different kinds of candy type or if you want to send a Halloween fabric that would be cool too. As for ideas.....well I know this is crazy to say but I love Peek-A-Boo blocks and FP Little People, I still have all my little people from when I was growing up and we have all my brother's too and I've started getting a few sets for the girls...well actually only the farm and school bus. But we do have a Babies R'Us Registry (mostly toys on it that I want) and I have an Amazon wish list if you are looking for ideas. But so far I have loved everything you got me and the thought you have put in to it. Also I think it would be cool if there is some kind of regional food that's unique to where you come from, like my friends and I are always on the look out for something different, one lives in Canada and she has sent me maple taffy, maple syrup, maple fudge, the other lives in Florida and she sent food from Walt Disney World (ok she's a little strange but hey it was still cool) and in return I sent them Ski soda and horseradish since I live right next door to the Horseradish capital of the world and also we exchange receipes, so if you have favorite receipes you want to share that would be really cool too.

This month my SP sent along a sweet little taggie blankie (this will probably go to China with us), some cool iron-on letters of my girl's name (these will probably end up on a tee shirt) and wall transfers of ladybugs and dragonflies (I think these will go on either a little step stool or a kid's size table and chair set that I'll paint). Thanks again for all the gifts Secret Pal! You help make this long, long wait a lot more bearable.

After a stressful day the door bell rang and there was the postman with a large box. On the box was a Ladybug! I knew who it was from. I took it inside and waited for Wendy to get up from her nap...which was shortly after that.
I opened it up and there were all these brightly colored packages! Wendy wanted to help; so I let her we started with the smallest and worked toward the largest. Wow, was Wendy surprised and thrilled to find that the package was actually for her! Inside was the Fisher Price Airplane so she can pretend to be flying to China to get Mylie.
My pal also sent two puzzels one with a ladybug/bug theme, and the other with a transportation theme. Wendy has been wanting these. Then for me, some hand lotion with my favorite sent, ladybug socks, ladybug stickers, and for Mylie a sweet little crochet ladybug hair clip.

A huge and belated thanks to my Secret Pal! What a wonderful gift during a very stressful week -- my sister and her family of five moved out of our house this past weekend after a six-month stay... and my husband begins a new job next week (not an expected change).

The book is already a favorite of Abby Mei's. And she continues to fight me for the jewelry! :)

Thank you to my secret pal! I did received this on Wednesday night. I have been so busy this week to put up the post. I recieved a photo album (great the family pictures that we will send with referral package) Spoons (I will need them) Take and Toss bowls (I will need to store up rice congee!) Hangers (Always need those!) My son 5th birthday is on Sunday and we having a huge party for him. To my Secret pal Forrest is into Pirates, Power Rangers, Star Wars, knights and horses. He also into ladybugs too! Due to me talking about them all the time. I am also making him an Good wishes quilt too! So fabric square would be nice too! His favorite colors are Blue and Green.

I can't get over how cute the ladybug hunting theme is... You are just the best! I mean, how AMAZINGLY ADORABLE is this? Our yet to be named baby girl (the names of the day are either Stella or Violet but seem to change hourly!) and I have some serious ladybug hunting to do! You ROCK!

What good is a hunting trip without the proper accessories? You thought of it all!!! Cute outfits, a caterpillar toy to squeeze if we get scared and an outstanding dress to wear to celebrate out catches! Did you see those dynamite pink ladybug earrings? Oh yeah...Now that's what I'm talkin' about!

August - I lOVE MY SECRET PAL!!!

Let me just say that again - I LOVE MY SECRET PAL!!!!
You are so sweet and I have a feeling that you are a lot like me whoever you are! I love everything!


I opened up the HUGE box that everything came in and here is this adorable ladybug doormat! Have you ever seen something so cute? I love it. It is now in our garage/mudroom entrance so we see it many times a day!








And then look at the slinky soft ladybug blanket! I can’t wait to wrap our little one up in it when she gets here! The scrubber holder is so cute too. I put it in my art studio so I can see it every time I wash my hands (about 20 times a day my husband would say!!) And the most precious part was the little note that you made. So thoughtful and sweet. It is already in my pile to be scrapbooked!






















Last but not least, how cute are these socks? Darren thought we should both try them on for fun… Cute pic eh? Love ‘em!

I was out of town for the entire month the first month we did secret pals, so I didn't get home to open my gift until well after my wonderful pal sent it. BUT it was great to come home and amidst the chaos of unpacking and getting my two year old settled to have a special box to open.

Thank you so much, secret pal! I love everything. I definitely need socks for the new baby because I don't have any left from my first daughter. You know how hard it is to keep track of socks. Everything you sent will be put to good use. Love that diapering kit! And one of my fave items in the box of goodies was the card. It was just huge fun to get a note from you.

With Zoe around, the wait is way easier than when I was waiting for her. But this package of goodies helped remind and excite me that we're waiting for a baby!

Okay, so not even a week after I got home my secret pal sent the second package to me. You're good, secret pal. And I'm going to write a post w/ pictures before the weekend is out.

I just love getting packages in the mail!!! We openeded our gifts from our secret pal on Friday afternoon. It was so much fun. Sarah loved her Cinderella card and the little princess book she can read to Maddy when she arrives. I love the willow angel. She is so beautiful and I will put her on our hearth so we can be reminded that Maddy has a guardian angel. The princess bib is also adorable! Thank you so much secret pal. We LOVE everything!!!

Thanks to the Schaffer Family's secret pal! The Elmo themed box was a hit at our house. We love Elmo. However, Christopher has tried to hide the Elmo see and say! :) I loved the gift subscription to Parenting!
