Secret Pal, to say that I love what you sent me this month is an understatement. I am blown and away and moved by the beautiful blanket you made for the baby. Is this crochet? I knit, but I don't think I could knit that pattern. It is so pretty! I love it! And the fact that you made this gorgeous blanket, oh my gosh, this is one of my absolute baby gifts ever. EVER. This cannot be topped, I'm telling you. It is impossible! I love it and I love that you made it!







I cannot wait to see the baby in this little bib! And the little shoes and headband...so cute!

Once again you have outdone yourself. This month's theme was ladybugs!! My youngest son helped me open the gifts. There's books, a ladybug magnet, a cute card with ladybug stickers, an adorable stuffed ladybug, a ladybug to clip on to the stroller, some sippy cups, a spill mat and some adorable ladybug hair pretties...wow!!! Thank you so much. I really love everything!

Thank you so very much for all of the treasures that you have sent us. I am so sorry that I haven't posted the photos like I have in the past. Lots has been going on since X-mas. If I have missed any photos please let me know.
I really love all of my presents you have sent to me, Wendy, and Mylie they have truly boosted our spirits these days.
I especially love the Handmade Hat, Hair Clips and Hair band. I am very impressed that you have done this! They are so pretty, now all I need is to match up some outfits to take with me on the China trip. The little X-mas night wear, Ornaments for Wendy& Mylie, the toy attacher, and the M&M's for X-mas were great treats.
Recently I received a Little glass Ladybug, and Chinese Cookbook which Mike really loved( he loves to cook for the family), and it happened to arrive for his 50th birthday on Monday the 22nd of January. Wendy loves her little Frog Purse,and her frog stickers, too.

To My Wonderful Secret Pal...

Thank you so very much! Your thoughtful gift arrived today, and it couldn't have come at a better time! We finally have snow on the ground! The kids enjoyed an evening outside playing, and came in to "REAL" peppermint hot chocolate and handcrafted marshmallows. It was delicious! I have a feeling that Nestles and Jiffy Puff aren't going to cut it anymore! :)

I'm listening & singing along to The Cure lullaby CD as I'm typing you this thank you. I absolutely love it!!! I'm so 80's. As my friend's teenage daughter says, "Tina's so retro she's cool." I'll take that as a compliment.


Thank you for all the great gifts. I definitely need to get organized. The calendar is already up. I can just look at the pictures & dream about traveling to China. And as you say dream about the region where she might be born. The planner will definitely come in handy for all the renewals we'll be doing this year. I will definitely use the journal. It's something I haven't been doing, but it will definitely be good for our daughter to know how much I thought about her & loved her before she was even born.

The baby gifts are always welcomed. This is her 1st baby book. Yeah!

I don't think I have a fair deal going here - my SP is way better at this than I ever thought about being. Heck, even her handwriting is more creative than mine!

This months gifts were great - feeding items that are easy, convenient and needed! My gift also included an awesome bib that has a pic of a backstage pass and says, "I'm with the band." This tells me that my SP reads my blog... I am truly grateful for such a wonderful friend (yes, I believe this is someone I could definitley be friends with), and appreciate your kindness, thoughtfulness, and sense of humor more than you'll ever know.

You probably heard my shriek from there -- I LOVE it! (Kelly Monnin's secret pal)

My secret pal rocks! I got the greatest secret pal gift ever today -- a complete "Winter Princess" outfit for our daughter. OMG, it is the cutest thing I've ever seen and am so anxious to see it on her. Fortunately, I have access to a digital camera this week, so I'm going to take a picture and post it tomorrow. (For now, it's late and I'm going to bed, but I wanted my Secret Pal to know I got the package and appreciate it very much.) The box had a little rose, a pink furry hat with the cutest little ball ties, a pink velvet skirt, pink and sheepskin boots (think Ugg style), and the most fabulous coat EVER -- a dark swing-style "fur" coat!! I can't even explain how much I adore the coat. I was immediately picturing her first Christmas home, the first Christmas photo card with her in it wearing this outfit, and the outfit being one of those that gets kept forever and passed on to her babies. I was sooo excited to open this! I really, really love it! You had to have blown right past the $ amount (c'mon, a fabulous Hanna Anderson hat -- what a luxury!!! I look longingly at that catalog all the time.) Once again, you have incredible taste. I wish I could thank you in person for your tremendous effort to find things I love month after month, but this will have to do for now. Thank you so much!

First Secret Pal gift of the New Year

Robin White here. .. I have to say that my secret pal is totally on the ball. My gifts for January arrived today. As you can see, everything is PINK! I just love pink. Thank you so much secret pal. You are AWESOME! You totally know that this is a family who loves princesses. (at least Sarah and I do)


Even the wrapping paper had princess crowns all over it !

Sorry SP that my thank-you is so late. I've been down with the flu since Christmas morning. I'm just starting to feel human again. I guess I should start getting flu shots - I've never had one. Anyways, thanks so much for the wonderful December gifts. I just love everything. I've already been using the body butter - it smells great. And I love the foot cream - I haven't had any of the Burt's Bees foot cream in about 2 years. I can't wait to slather it on and put on a pair of my new funky socks from the sock exchange. That stuff is the best! And I love the smell of the vanilla jasmine lotion and body spray. Plus, the best part of the gift was the blanket that says 'I love mommy'. Both blankets are so super soft - I can't wait to be able to use them.

Today we finished the holiday visit chaos and came home to find a FANTASTIC gift from my secret pal! First, she sent our boys books and "superballs", which they are going absolutely nuts about! Then, she sent the sweetest things for our little girl -- a book called "Snuggle Bunnies", lavendar bedtime scented bath wash and lotion (LOVE that stuff!), the sweetest yellow floral sleeper and a beautiful towel and washcloth set with a green butterfly and pretty floral ribbon trim. I wish I could post a picture! I asked Santa for a digital camera for Christmas but my letter must have gotten lost on the way to the North Pole:) My neighbor said the box arrived before Christmas (she was collecting my mail). I'm sorry it took me so long to get back here and open it! What a great way to wrap up the holidays! Thank you, thank you, thank you! As always, your taste is incredible and I LOVE the gifts!

Gotta Love my FABulous Secret Pal!

She outdid herself again! Didn't think it was possible! What great Christmas gifts for the boys! Spencer got a stuffed Grinch which is his absolute favorite, along with a Grinch Who Stole Christmas book, and Steffen got Green Eggs and Ham along with a stuffed Sam I am! They were thrilled!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Spencer said "thats just what I wanted!" (he's a great gift kid, very polite!) and for Mia, the one storybook about adoption from China that I didn't have, Shaoey and Dot! LOVE IT! She also sent along a beautiful Christmas card! All I can say is when our one year DTC anniversary rolls around, I'm going to miss this girl!
